Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using AppointOwl (the "Service"), operated by Hualit ("we", "us", "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

AppointOwl is a staff scheduling and online appointment management platform for service businesses such as barbershops, hair salons, beauty studios, spas, and clinics. It allows business owners to manage staff, services, and customer bookings through a web interface and a public booking page.

3. Account Registration

You must provide accurate and complete information when registering. Each business account must be activated by our team before access is granted. We reserve the right to refuse activation without providing a reason. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and for all activities that occur under your account.

4. Free Plan

New accounts are placed on the Free plan, which includes:

• 1 staff member
• Up to 50 appointments per month
• Public booking page
• Basic customer management

Paid plans with higher limits are available and subject to their own pricing terms communicated at the time of upgrade.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service
• Transmit spam, malicious code, or disruptive content
• Resell or sublicense the Service without our written consent
• Impersonate any person or entity

6. Customer Data

You retain ownership of all customer data you input into the Service. By using AppointOwl you grant us a limited licence to store and process that data solely to provide and improve the Service. We do not sell your data or your customers' data to third parties.

7. Availability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform maintenance that temporarily limits access and will endeavour to give advance notice where possible.

8. Termination

You may close your account at any time by contacting us at support@hualit.com. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, without notice.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Hualit shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total cumulative liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the three months preceding the claim.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify registered users by email at least 14 days before material changes take effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by Portuguese law. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Portugal.
